The GII suite of Certificates in Applied insurance Studies are intermediate level courses designed to deliver applied knowledge in the insurance class being studied.

If you are in a technical, customer services, sales and other role within an insurance organisation, or insurance and risk management department of corporate buyers, then these courses are for you. The courses build upon the foundations of the Cert. GII or similar formal training and deliver the applied knowledge to enhance your competence in the subject giving you confidence in your job, enabling you to deliver an improved customer experience and demonstrating your commitment to your employer improving your prospects for career advancement.

The emphasis of these certificates is on principles and practice rather than depth of technical knowledge. Thus the curriculum of these courses include the application of the insurance principles to that class of insurance being studied, a review of relevant or compulsory legislation and market agreements, an examination of a typical policy and the application of underwriting, claims and reinsurance practice in that class.

All these certificates are awarded after successfully passing a two hour, 100 Multiple Choice Question paper.
