This course?includes a detailed study of policy terms and conditions, risk assessment, underwriting and claims handling of the range of policies designed to cater for the needs of private individuals. The course also deals with distribution and marketing from a strategic as well as regulatory perspective focusing on modern channels of distribution of this class of business. A study is also undertaken on the underwriting, claims handling, reinsurance and account management issues in a personal lines department.
